Our practices

Commercial

Ranked as a Band 1 firm for Corporate/Commercial by Chambers Asia Pacific, our commercial team offers a full range of services for both domestic and international commercial transactions to a broad spectrum of businesses from start-ups to multinational corporations across a variety of industry sectors and markets.

We are a full-service commercial law firm covering all aspects of our clients’ transactional activity. We are well-placed to advise on cross-border commercial arrangements and all related considerations, such as competition, employment and IP. We have particular expertise in assisting clients in making greenfield or brownfield investments in Pakistan.

The team commands a keen commercial awareness and works hard to gain a clear understanding of your business from the outset. We work with you to evaluate a transaction’s potential merits/risks against the broader backdrop of your business objectives and intentions. Attention to detail is crucial.

We advise on all local and international commercial agreements, including financial contracts vital to a corporate’s ongoing business needs and investments. Our lawyers offer sector-specific technical knowledge and the legal expertise necessary to draw up tailored contractual solutions.

Our clients range from entrepreneurs to well-established companies to non-profit entities.

We were involved in drafting corporate laws relating to the demutualisation of the stock exchanges and seeking to bring the Company Laws of Pakistan on par with international practices.

We act for major international corporations with diverse IP portfolios and domestic clients with known brands nationally and regionally. Our IP team aim to assist with and protect our clients’ portfolios and advise on all IP angles.
