Shahbakht Pirzada is a partner in the Firm’s Karachi office, advising Pakistani and international businesses across contentious and advisory matters for over 13 years. He has practiced as a project finance and M&A lawyer, negotiated complex commercial contracts, and represented clients in litigation and arbitration; spanning contract, tax, arbitration, company, trade, telecommunications, and intellectual property law.

His practice today centers on dispute resolution and Pakistan law opinions. He represents clients in matters before Pakistan’s courts and arbitral tribunals, and is regularly instructed by foreign law firms, multinational companies, foreign courts and arbitral tribunals to advise on the Pakistani elements of cross-border and intra-group matters. Alongside this, he advises on commercial and governmental affairs and conducts corporate, internal and HR investigations.
