Ahmad Mohid is based in the Lahore office, assisting the firm on corporate/commercial and transactional matters. His expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, banking and finance, corporate governance, real estate, procurement, contractual matters, employment, and dispute resolution, advising on both contentious and non-contentious issues.

Experience
  • Advised various M&A deals and obtained regulatory approvals from Competition Commission of Pakistan, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, for various joint ventures, mergers and shareholding acquisitions, restructurings, with several international and prominent deals involving Pakistan Stock Exchange listed companies, startups, and foreign corporations/ shareholders.
  • Advised foreign and local entities on land acquisition, disposition, and related real estate matters, and contributed as part of the team advising on public sector development projects undertaken through public-private partnerships.
  • Part of the team engaged by a syndicate of banks to conduct due diligence exercise and preparation and negotiation of the entire suite of financing documents for debt recapitalization and refinancing of RLNG Plants at Haveli Bahadur Shah (1230 MW) and Balloki (1230 MW) developed by National Power Parks Management Company.
  • Advised various foreign and local non-governmental organizations (NGO) providing education, religious harmony, healthcare, community development and poverty relief on a variety of matters ranging from registration as charities, approval for foreign funding and regulatory compliance.
  • Part of the team advising federal and provincial governments and public sector entities on pioneering public-private partnership (PPP) projects across Pakistan.
  • Advised various foreign and local non-governmental organizations (NGO) providing education, religious harmony, healthcare, community development and poverty relief on a variety of matters ranging from registration as charities, approval for foreign funding and regulatory compliance.
