The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is developing tourist and recreational parks at several sites on a public-private partnership basis to improve the province’s tourist infrastructure. To this end, KP enacted a law in 2019 to set up a tourism authority to develop and maintain tourist sites throughout the province to a high and uniform standard.
We have been engaged in advising on developing a recreational park at the historic Hund Swabi site on a public-private partnership basis. The development will include an amusement park, water sports on the adjacent lake, chalets, restaurants, and other leisure facilities. Our role includes preparing bidding documents and drafting the concession agreement to be entered into with a private developer.
Pakistan Partner Adil Tirmizey and Associate Partner Rida A. Bhatti are our team for this matter.
