Testimonials

Victoria Holland has acted for us for many years, most recently in relation to a business acquisition. I can’t recommend Victoria and her team highly enough. Excellent communication throughout; they really listen to what we need and deliver a first-class service within the desired time frames. Victoria explains matters in a clear and concise way, is extremely thorough and works hard to protect our interests. Her fees are fair and provide great value.

Gary Stevens, Founder & Group Director of BBCS – January 2022

I have little knowledge of legal matters….I knew James at RIAA Barker Gillette; after the recent death of my parents, who was fantastically supportive at a very hard time. When my business partners recently suggested setting up a LLP…. I contacted James to ask if he could recommend somebody to advise me…..He suggested Victoria who got in contact with me the next day. We discussed the LLP process and draft agreement….and made a solid clear plan on how to move forward. When speaking to me Victoria she really listened, and I felt she really understood my issues and concerns. I would highly recommend Victoria and her firm. Victoria was knowledgeable, confident, professional and approachable. I found that her support made a rather stressful process so much easier. I would not hesitate in recommending her or the firm to family and friends. [Victoria’s] help and support have been amazing over the past few months. I cannot properly express in words how much this has meant to me, enabling me to carry on caring for the kids and working.

Liz Sullivan – March & December 2021

With the help of RIAA Barker Gillette I have been able to establish a Biotechnology company by acquiring promising intellectual property from an originator and agreeing a substantial financing round on the basis of that IP acquisition. The partner [Victoria Holland] at RIAA Barker Gillette became my partner in negotiations with the third parties and took a pragmatic approach by focussing on closing the deals to allow for release of value for both parties. The experience was challenging, exhilarating and eventually successful.“ “Thanks to all for making it happen, especially I should say thanks to Vicky who was steadfast beside me the whole way and who steadied the process beautifully.

Nicholas Benedict, CEO & Co-Founder of Vaderis Therapeutics AG – April & July 2020
