Veronica Hartley

Consultant

Veronica Hartley has a proven track record of delivering strategic legal advice, leading high-value transactions and fostering strong governance across industries and jurisdictions. With over 18 years of international experience in corporate and commercial law, she has advised clients across a broad range of sectors, including financial institutions, multinational corporations, SMEs, start-ups, entrepreneurs, joint venture parties, partnerships, LLPs and investors.

From 2017 to 2023, Veronica was a partner at RIAA Barker Gillette (UK), where she led the Corporate and Commercial Team in London and served as the firm’s IT partner. She has extensive experience in M&A, joint ventures, restructuring, capital raising, share structures, company secretarial, financing and security arrangements.

Beyond corporate transactions, Veronica has significant commercial expertise, including negotiating manufacturing and distribution agreements, SaaS, consultancy and service contracts, advising on GDPR & privacy law and providing legal opinions on power projects with global manufacturers.

Outside of law, Veronica Hartley has an entrepreneurial spirit—previously rescuing a café business in Wales, working as a SCUBA diving instructor in Australia and Thailand and now farming kiwifruit and avocados in New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty—all while continuing to provide pragmatic, solutions-driven legal advice.
