Veronica Hartley

Consultant

Veronica Hartley is a corporate and commercial lawyer passionate about all things environmental. Throughout her practice, she has been active in green businesses and is a forceful advocate for change. In 2019, Veronica changed her focus to assisting organisations, community groups and businesses dealing with environmental legal issues.

As a lawyer who has spent more than ten years advising clients operating across a broad range of industry sectors, as well as drawing on the management experience she gained as head of the Corporate and Commercial Team in London, Veronica intends to build a bespoke practice focusing on the environment and climate change, with the ultimate aim of making a difference.

Veronica Hartley’s experience working with a wide range of clients, including financial institutions, national and international body corporates, SMEs, start-ups, entrepreneurs, JV parties, partnerships and LLPs and investors, places her in an ideal position to engage with the business world in making a difference on climate change and help environmental organisations achieve their goals in practical ways extending beyond the limited confines of politics.

“For some time I’ve wanted to refocus my career to explore ways RIAA Barker Gillette can not only assist our highly valued corporate clients but also have a positive social impact. This is a chance for us to use our skills not only to protect the environment but achieve access to justice for all those dealing with challenging environmental problems.”
