Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution
M. Qaiser Khanzada (Qaiser) is the Head of Dispute Resolution and is a founding partner of RIAA Barker Gillette, having joined its predecessor firm in 1981.
Qaiser’s practice covers a range of corporate and commercial disputes encompassing the traditional chancery fields and property disputes. Chancery work splits into two areas: traditional and commercial. Traditional chancery work includes trusts, probate and real property (land, and anything growing on, affixed to, or built upon it), and commercial chancery work covers a wide range of finance and business disputes often involving an international dimension, relating to asset tracing, cross-border insolvency and offshore trusts. Qaiser also has experience with contentious matters involving the Competition and Markets Authority (the CMA) in relation to alleged cartel investigations and enquiries and consequent director disqualification applications.
Qaiser has experience in all forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), ranging from direct negotiations to mediation. Qaiser’s clients range from companies and their officers to insolvency practitioners and high-net-worth individuals.
