Maryam Mouzaoui

Solicitor

In 2018, Maryam Mouzaoui began her career as a paralegal, having worked as a student caseworker while studying for her degree and LPC. Maryam qualified as a solicitor in 2022 and joined RIAA Barker Gillette’s dispute resolution team in 2023 from Tollers LLP.

Maryam works substantially with partners Laura St-Gallay and Stuart Jacobs on property litigation matters and with our head of dispute resolution, M. Qaiser Khanzada, on broader commercial and civil litigation matters.

Maryam supports all forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), ranging from direct negotiations to mediation. Maryam’s clients include individuals, companies, directors, shareholders, charities and residential and commercial landlords.

Maryam Mouzaoui’s dispute resolution experience includes contractual disputes, debt recovery, general litigation matters, insolvency, intellectual property disputes, misrepresentation, personal guarantee claims, shareholder disputes and unfair prejudice claims.

Property litigation

Maryam Mouzaoui’s property litigation experience includes boundary disputes, claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 and residential possession claims.
