For individuals

Older people and LPAs

With over 25 years’ experience, you can rely on our team to overcome the various obstacles and hurdles, which confront older people and vulnerable clients, their families and carers, every day.

With an ageing population in the UK, issues relating to older people and the vulnerable are a rapidly expanding area of law, subject to much legislation and regulation. Where appropriate, we encourage clients to plan ahead and put a Lasting Power of Attorney (an LPA) in place.

We will handle your case with the utmost care, sensitivity and efficiency, and with that in mind, we can organise home or hospital visits to assist you and your family if required.

Our head of department and private client partner, James McMullan, is an associate member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers, and private client solicitor Herman Cheung is a fully accredited member. James and Herman are also members of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP), whilst trainee solicitor Charlotte Barbaroussis is an affiliate member of STEP. James is also a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).

We understand that you may require a more discreet setting or a home visit to provide your instructions. Therefore, we can arrange to meet you in the comfort of your home or at your care home or hospital in or around Central London. Click here for more information.
